Hear From Liz:

This isn’t the update I had hoped to share with everyone but I felt it was necessary to keep everyone up to date on my journey. For over a year, I expressed concerns about shooting pain in my right breast up through my armpit. After an act of congress & switching primary doctors 3 times—I got a mammogram. The mammogram showed nothing and I was told at the end of 2022 that “sometimes we just have pain in our breasts”. I reluctantly listened to the doctor and told myself to stop worrying. Fast forward to February 2024—I noticed a lump right where I was having the pain. After months of waiting on different primary Dr visits, another mammogram & ultrasound, it was determined that I needed a biopsy. On 4/30–I had my biopsy. Today on 5/2, I got the official breast cancer diagnosis—Invasive ductal mammory incarsonoma. At this time, I am waiting to find out what stage of cancer I have. I am begging everyone to say a prayer that it is isolated to one spot. My first oncologist appointment is May 13th to determine what treatment is necessary.
To all of my clients, please be patient with me during this time as we figure out my treatment plan. The good news is, I have a wonderful team to back me up for all of your needs❤️
